Autonomous technology for driverless vehicles in various industries.
EasyMile is a global leader in autonomous technology that powers heavy-duty driverless vehicles for airports, logistics, and industrial sites worldwide.
Since 2014, its internationally-certified software has driven autonomously in 400+ locations in more than 30 countries, over 1,000,000km.
This advanced stack enables precise vehicle control, real-time decision-making, and seamless integration with existing infrastructure. A combination of LiDAR, cameras, and radar sensors allow vehicles to accurately perceive their surroundings and navigate complex environments. EasyMile prioritises delivering safety and efficiency to its clients.
Having built its expertise in passenger transport, the company is now focused on autonomous towing which has resulted in the development of two solutions: the EZTow, a driverless tow tractor, and the EZDolly, an autonomous cargo dolly.
With several mass operations around the world EasyMile was the first to deploy fully driverless at Level 4 of autonomous driving and has the highest number of remotely supervised operations (10+) on the market to date. It is also the first autonomous vehicle solutions provider to be ISO 9001:2015 certified.
EasyMile has over 150 employees in 2 locations (Toulouse, Berlin).

About the Role
Your engineering team is in charge of our Fleet Manager, EZFleet, which is our in-house fleet management solution tailor made to monitor and control Autonomous vehicles. The team provides both a Control Center to monitor Autonomous vehicles and a Mission Manager to overview, dispatch and optimize the fleet performance.
As a Delivery Manager, you own the planning, execution, and team growth for your software component. You will lead a small team integrated with Tools, Simulation and Cloud activities, who have backend, frontend and fullstack backgrounds. Your goal is to ensure features are delivered predictably, meeting high quality and safety standards, all while fostering a healthy, high-performing team culture.
What You’ll Do
1. Delivery, Maintenance & Continuous Improvement
Predictable Execution: Own release planning, track software progress, detect deviations early, and proactively drive risk mitigation plans.
Flow & Metrics: Provide the right frameworks to smooth out delivery, track velocity and quality metrics, and clear technical or organizational roadblocks.
Hand-over & Support: Ensure seamless hand-over and clear communication with Integration and Support teams for every delivered version, helping them provide fluid and reactive post-release support.
Operational Reporting: Participate in regular synchronization meetings with your R&D Manager and peer Delivery Managers for cross-team tracking and operational alignment.
2. Component Ownership & Backlog Management
Planning & Backlog: Collect, challenge, and refine needs from internal stakeholders (Program, System, Operations). Prioritize and prepare the component backlog and release planning (sprints/increments) based on agreed solutions.
Cross-Team Alignment: Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Architects, IVV Managers, and other Delivery Managers to define technical proposals and align cross-component dependencies.
3. Team Management & Leadership
People Leadership: Directly manage your component team (Engineers, Tech Leads), fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Talent Growth: Support individual growth through regular 1-on-1s, annual performance reviews, tailored objective-setting, and annual training plans aligned with both personal development and EasyMile’s roadmap.
Hiring & Org Design: Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities, while actively driving the engineering hiring plan from sourcing to onboarding.
Strategic Alignment: Champion EasyMile’s vision and values, balancing system performance, scalability, safety, and security with resource constrain.
We are looking for a leader with strong technical foundations and a passion for managing people and projects in a complex, fast-paced environment.
Technical & Professional Experience:
Advanced experience in project/delivery management and team leadership within embedded software environments.
Advanced skills in backlog management, resource allocation, release delivery methodologies, and tooling.
Solid critical software engineering culture accustomed to constrained environments (safety, real-time, security, C language).
Fluency in both English and French (used daily).
Soft Skills:
Pragmatism & Result Orientation: Ability to make sound decisions, manage priorities, and deliver under resource constraints.
Communication & Emotional Intelligence: Strong active listener capable of bridging communication gaps across cross-functional teams (System, Ops, Support, Dev).
Adaptability (Context Switching): Comfortable moving seamlessly between high-level team design/planning and immediate operational blockers.
