Responsibilities

Commercial and contractual negotiations

  • Develop the commercial portfolio for the development of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure (alongside, where relevant, local solar power projects eg solar rooftops or solar shades).

  • Identify key customers in the EV charging infrastructure sector throughout the country & lead the multi-sector sales and development action (multi-channel approach).

  • Find the future sites where DRIVECO will install its stations. This is a key mission for our rapid development, especially internationally.

  • Investment carried by the Customer:

  • Propose a technical and financial solution that corresponds to the needs identified by the customer.

  • Negotiate (and sign) the technical and commercial offers.

  • Investment made by DRIVECO:

  • Target and rate future areas with several tools: DRIVECO proprietary traffic tool, population behavior analysis tool, landowner databases, etc.

  • Negotiate (and sign) Master Agreements and Leases to secure sites in coordination with the full scope CPO team.

  • Identify risks in the portfolio. Implement preventive or corrective actions.

  • Use the CRM to gain speed and efficiency.

Customer Relations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries.

  • Actively participate in trade shows.

  • Prepare presentations and visio to prospects and customers.

  • Prepare regular reports to customers on the progress of their business in addition to operations.

Country Management (acting)

  • Adapt the brand to the business challenges and culture of your country (in liaison with the central teams: Management, Marketing and Sales).

  • Ensure operational follow-up: guarantee profit, revenue, cash flow, business, payroll and quality follow-up objectives (in liaison with the central Finance Department)

  • Establish annual budgets and develop a detailed annual operational plan. Translate central objectives into monthly, quarterly or annual objectives for the country’s general and analytical accounting (revenue, profit and cash management).

  • Report on the performance of the local business. The acting Country Manager is also responsible for customer service. He/she must be able to follow up on this.

  • Recruit & manage their staff & follow-up of team performance and training (in conjunction with the central teams).


Preferred experience

Requirement

  • Proven working experience (8/10 years) as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.

  • Proven sales track record.

  • Experience in customer support is a plus.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, HubSpot).

  • Proficiency in English is required; French is definitely an asset.

  • Strong knowledge of the in-country EV and charging infrastructure markets and their environmental and regulatory constraints.

  • Communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to build relationships with local clients, and HQ teams in Paris.

  • BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field.
