Their story
Dfns was founded in 2019 by Clarisse Hagège, a former banker at Goldman Sachs, BAML, and Crédit Agricole. While advising on an ICO, she saw firsthand why institutions struggled with digital assets: the private key. One piece of data lost could mean everything lost.
With over a decade in global finance, Clarisse recognized the paradox. Blockchains promised freedom, but without safeguards they left users exposed. Dfns was created to solve this problem by building enterprise-grade wallet infrastructure that makes digital assets secure, compliant, and usable at scale.
