Your of work:

As a Functional Analyst for Securities Clearing, you will be responsible for the creation of specifications for new and existing securities clearing services. Additionally, you will contribute to the general functional support for the further extension of Eurex Clearing’s services for securities clearing. 

In a challenging and dynamic environment, you will collaborate closely with the business development areas and application development: Understanding market requirements, regulatory changes and technical implications and limitations associated with planned system extensions. This also includes the functional support of acceptance testing activities, end to end test coordination and discussions with all other interfacing systems.

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Support and maintenance of projects related to Eurex Clearing’s systems landscape; especially for securities clearing including corporate action processing for all cleared asset classes. 
  • Defining and reviewing the respective functional specifications, identifying dependencies to other functional areas or business processes, and mitigating potential risks.
  • Consultations with business development, application development, other internal stakeholders, and market participants.
  • Functional support of the implementation phase, especially with management- and analysis of functional issues, service implementation and documentation. Functional acceptance of new releases of Eurex Clearing system for securities clearing, coordination and reporting of end-to-end test activities.

 
Your profile:

  • Self-starting mentality as well as “can-do” attitude. Curious and open mind, with willingness to learn new things and to “Figure it out”. 
  • High commitment, motivation and creativity, willingness to take responsibility and the ability to work independently as well as flexibly in a diverse team structure.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, a proficient manner as well as project experience
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English; proficient German language skills will be a very strong asset. 
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulation is considered an advantage.
  • Functional knowledge of securities clearing including know-how in post-trade processing for SFTs, Equity, Bonds as well as the interaction with trading platforms i.e. Xetra, Eurex, Eurex Repo, BFZ etc.
  • University degree, preferably in economics or information technology or comparable education
