Yuri created Datafalio based on his deep knowledge of the insurance world. Before launching this ambitious project, Yuri worked for 25 years at Groupama, where he managed the Chinese and Italian entities before joining the group's Executive Committee.
Within Groupama, Yuri has been at the forefront of many digitalization projects, particularly projects that put the use of data at the heart of insurance models.
Driven by the conviction that entrepreneurship can accelerate disruption processes, he decided to launch Datafolio in early 2020 with his co-founder Emmanuel.
In addition to being an expert and passionate insurer, Yuri is also an inveterate marathon runner (more than 15 marathons) and a contemporary art and classical music enthusiast.
Yuri graduated from Sciences Po Paris.
For Emmanuel, protecting individuals has been a fascinating statistical and human exercise for over 20 years!
A mathematician by training, he spent a large part of his career within the AXA Group, where he held several management positions, notably as Global Director of Risk, Value and Pricing Strategy for the direct entities, and then as Technical, Claims and Innovation Director for the Direct Assurance subsidiary.
His passion for innovation and entrepreneurship later led him to join the start-up studio Kamet Ventures where he was responsible for innovation.
Entrepreneur, actuary, innovator and passionate business leader, Emmanuel is full of new ideas that he enjoys conceiving, realizing, and proposing to the market.
Emmanuel graduated from ENSAE ParisTech.
Rémi has had a diversified background in the world of research, teaching and digitalization.
He joined Datafolio following a desire to participate in an ambitious project from the very first steps.
The "tech & data first" choice of Datafolio has particularly caught his attention. He wants to install a coherent, modern and cloud-native technical ecosystem within Datafolio.
When he's not learning a new programming language, he's challenging the machines at Go (and he loses)!
Rémi is a graduate of Ecole Polytechnique and has a PhD in theoretical computer science.
After his thesis in applied mathematics, Grégory continued his career in data science.
Driven by a taste for challenge and innovation, he has multiplied experiences in various industries by implementing AI/Machine Learning solutions applied to fraud detection, marketing, customer relations or mobility analysis.
Dedicated and passionate, Grégory willingly shares his expertise with his team while allowing the necessary autonomy to grow and develop.
It is with this same approach that he has been teaching advanced Machine Learning at the Sorbonne University for the past 4 years.
He joined Datafolio for the challenge and the ambition to build a fairer and more preventive insurance.
After several years spent advising startups in their financial strategies (fundraising, M&A, etc.) within Clipperton, a European leading investment bank for new technologies, Arthur decided to go to the operational side of the force by joining a tech, ambitious and human project.
And he found it: Datafolio! A company that, according to him, combines all the ingredients for success: a necessary and fair product and a brilliant and passionate team that works in an excellent atmosphere of camaraderie.
At Datafolio, he is in charge of support functions such as: finance (financing, treasury, accounting, taxation), legal (contracts, social law, GDPR, etc.), HR (recruitment, talent management, payroll, etc.) and communication (positioning, brand image, etc.).
When he is not working he likes to bike, to read, to drink beers in Lille or Paris and to badly play chess!
