Having joined the GSE – GOLDBECK group in October 2025, CRITICAL BUILDING is accelerating its development in Italy as well, particularly in Milan, within the rapidly expanding Italian data center market.

To support this growth, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager.

Mission

You will become part of an international and multidisciplinary environment, working on large-scale projects (often worth tens of millions of euros).

The role combines:

• Technical expertise (HVAC, LV/MV electrical systems, security, BMS, commissioning)

• Project management (coordination, scheduling, costs, quality)

You will also play a key role in the development of CRITICAL BUILDING Italy.

Main Responsibilities

Development of the Italian branch

• Participate in the creation and structuring of CRITICAL BUILDING Italy

• Contribute to commercial and operational development

• Build strong relationships with clients and partners

Technical project management

• Analyze and formalize client requirements

• Review and validate technical documentation

• Support clients in technical choices and their implementation

Project management and coordination

• Coordinate internal and external teams (contractors, design offices, operators)

• Lead design and coordination meetings

• Monitor quality, timelines, and costs

Reporting and quality

• Ensure the quality of deliverables (reports, minutes, technical documentation)

• Improve reporting processes

• Promote the sharing of best practices

Role Requirements

• Degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or similar)

• At least 10 years of experience in complex multidisciplinary projects

• Experience in data centers or mission-critical buildings/facilities

• Skills in HVAC, electrical systems, commissioning, and project management

• Strong analytical skills, autonomy, and rigor

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Fluent in Italian and English (French is a plus)

• Willingness to travel
