About this position

This position is based out of our R&D office in the heart of Paris (Notre-Dame-de-Lorette, 75009).

You will work with a team of talented Developers, DevOps and Data Scientists who are passionate about their work and like to have fun in the process.

Your mission

Implio is our all-in-one SaaS moderation platform which combines state-of-the-art AI (deep learning, NLP, computer vision) with a powerful user interface for human moderation and statistics.

As a member of the Implio development team, you will help us grow our platform. You will work on a variety of day-to-day tasks:

• Develop scalable and elegant microservices

• Deliver improvements to our platform, for additional features, scalability and maintainability

• Turn state-of-the-art AI proof of concepts into working, scalable solutions

• Improve your practical and theoretical skills, and share that new knowledge with the rest of the team

You will be working in close collaboration with stakeholders: Front-end Developers, Back-end Developers, DevOps, Data Scientists and Product Owner, to come up with the very best solutions.

✅ We are looking for someone having worked for 5 years or more as a Java Back-end Developer and experienced with:

• Sprint / Sprint Boot

• Algorithms and data structures

• Microservices architectures and REST APIs

• Git and continuous integration

• Agile software development

✅ As a person, you are:

• Enthusiast about team work, learning and teaching

• Detail-oriented, outgoing and a good communicator

• Fluent in English (French is not mandatory)

🎯 Extra points if you have experience with:

• AWS

• Developing SaaS applications and handling large volumes of data

• Node.js and Scala, as you may need to analyze code from existing services written in these languages

1. First interview (30 minutes)
   Goal: a first introduction to get to know each other, review basic requirements, and answer any question you may have about the position.

2. Technical test (details shared via email, ~3 hours needed to complete)
   Goal: assess your technical skills. We’ll review the results together and give you feedback.

3. Additional interview with one or two key stakeholders (1 hour)
   Goal: meet with one or two key stakeholders of our team so they get to know you, and so you learn about our product vision and how we operate as a team.

4. Meet-and-greet with the team (30 minutes)
   Goal: an informal meeting during which you will meet a larger part of our team.
