We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented intern to work alongside the Finance and Operations teams in maintaining financial records, processes and reporting across all aspects of the business:

• Accounts payable

  • You will be responsible for the processing of supplier invoices ensuring that invoices are validated, filed, and paid appropriately.

  • You will ensure that all business costs, including staff costs, are correctly allocated to the correct Beloy entity, functional area and project.

• Client invoicing and accounts receivable

  • Managing multiple operational data flows, you will support with ensuring the completeness of sales invoicing and client receipts across our high-volume programs.

  • You will prepare external insurer reports to support the premium settlements and reconciliations.

• Bank reconciliations

  • You will monitor all company bank accounts and ensure accurate reconciliations and cash flow reporting.

• Client program reporting

  • You will support internal and external client reporting relating to program volumes, partner performance, and profitability.

• Financial closings

  • You will assist with periodic closures, audit preparation, and analytical reporting for internal stakeholders.

  • You will identify opportunities to streamline recurring tasks, helping design simpler, more automated workflows between Finance and Operations.

You will be joining a fast growing business and these activities may change as the business evolves. Within this framework you will be supporting in establishing or refining processes and tools, including aligning finance processes and data with the core technology platform that Beloy has developed within its unique market proposition.

What you will bring

Background:

• You are currently pursuing a Master’s degree with an interest in accounting, finance, and/or data management.

• You are a natural problem solver who enjoys structured logic, working with numbers, and organizing complex information.

• You are proactive and comfortable working autonomously and simultaneously on various topics, with close guidance and coaching from the Finance team.

• You are interested in being exposed to all operational financial processes and controls within the Finance team.

• You would like to be part of a dynamic and rapidly evolving startup in the insurtech space.

Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, an ability to exchange with various levels of stakeholders and the capacity to work in a cross-functional environment.

• Fluent in French and English (English being our working language).

• Strong analytical capacity and proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting.

• You are flexible; we are a young startup, and you will be working on a variety of tasks.

• You are curious: you have an appetite for learning automation and data tools to make data workflows smoother and faster.

Compensation**: €1,200 gross per month for an internship, or between €1,200 and €1,870 gross per month for an apprenticeship, depending on the candidate’s profile and the applicable legal/conventional framework in France.**
