Content Creator Beam

At Beam, we’re building AI that serves society.

We're a global team of ambitious, hardworking problem solvers, applying fast-moving startup energy to work that makes the world a better place. If you want to apply your talent to the biggest problems society faces, Beam is the place for you.

You’ll be part of a high-performance culture where you'll make a huge impact, rapidly progress your career, and truly enjoy your work.

Over 100,000 frontline workers already use Beam to take notes, provide live interpretation and handle phone calls, so they can focus on the people who need them most. This is just the beginning.

About the role

We're looking for a Content Creator to own our social media presence. You’ll live and breathe social, know how to tell a story visually, and turn what's already happening across the business into great content.

You’ll be primarily focused on creating a strong employer brand, but you’ll also be exploring additional community-focused content around Beam’s mission to make frontline support accessible to all.

Your main channel will be video and photography, but you’ll be a decent writer, willing to create blog posts and other collateral if that’s the best way to tell the story.

What you'll do

• Lead on employer brand content - showing what it's actually like to work at Beam

• Own the social media content calendar across all channels, pulling in content from the wider team (storytellers, sales, leadership)

• Shoot and edit photography and video at events, in the office, and on site visits

• Plan and produce content that can also be used for paid social, not just organic posts

• Keep a consistently high bar - scrappy and fast-moving, but never low-quality

• Support senior leadership's personal content/LinkedIn presence

• Work with internal teams to source stories sensitively and with the appropriate level of sign off, especially where social workers and their clients are concerned

• Flag or fix any inconsistencies in tone or messaging before things go out (with support from your manager)

What you'll bring

• A genuine social media obsession. You’ve built social audiences from scratch, either for yourself, or on behalf of a company.

• Strong photography and videography skills. You can turn out sharp, engaging content quickly.

• Operational rigor. You can manage a calendar and keep multiple moving pieces on track, not just make things look nice.

• A self-starter mentality. You’re comfortable getting yourself into rooms (conferences, events, site visits), finding people to interview and running interviews.

• Good judgment around sensitive content and when to check before posting.

• A sharp eye for what's working vs. what's filler. You'd rather post less, well, than more, badly.

To apply, share a link to a social media account you’ve grown from scratch, and a bit about why Beam’s mission resonates with you.
