The position

Job description

At Ask for the Moon, we sit at the crossroads of a fast-moving tech start-up and large, complex industrial groups. Our mission is to merge these worlds seamlessly—and your expertise in security, infrastructure, and DevOps will be critical to that success.

We’re searching for an experienced DevSecOps Engineer who will own security across our product lifecycle and cloud platforms. Reporting to Nicolas Guérin (Lead DevOps), you’ll steer day-to-day initiatives and longer-term strategy around platform security, compliance, and DevSecOps culture.

You’ll be based in our Paris (République) office three days per week, with up to two days of remote work.

Preferred experience

  • 3 + years in DevSecOps, Cloud Security, or SRE with a security focus.

  • Hands-on scripting & tooling: comfortable writing automation in Python, TypeScript, and Bash (e.g., custom CI/CD guards, IaC linters, security bots).

  • Fluency with Terraform / Pulumi, Kubernetes, Argo CD, and GitHub Actions / GitHub CI.

  • Deep experience on at least one major cloud (preferably Azure; AWS/GCP welcome if eager to cross-train).

  • Solid grasp of modern security frameworks: ISO 27001, SOC 2, OWASP ASVS, CIS Benchmarks, etc.

  • Track record of designing secure, scalable platforms—ideally for SaaS products that also offer on-prem deployments.

  • Ability to explain complex security topics to non-experts and influence engineering culture.

  • Bonus points for: zero-trust networking, supply-chain security (SLSA), experience hardening LLM pipelines, or past involvement in audits.

  • Languages: fluent French and English, written & spoken.

  • Soft skills: initiative, curiosity, and a collaborative mindset—our best ideas come from open discussion.

Recruitment process

  1. 30-min intro call with the Lead DevOps – do we fit?

  2. Asynchronous technical case – design-plus-code challenge focused on secure infrastructure.

  3. 60-min live review of your solution with DevOps team (on-site).

  4. Final interviews with CEO and key stakeholders.
