Help shape the future of specialty insurance
At Artificial, we’re building the next generation of technology for the specialty (re)insurance market. Our mission is to transform how brokers and carriers operate in complex markets by removing operational barriers and enabling smarter, faster decision-making.
We use modern technology to solve real challenges for some of the world’s leading brokers and insurers. By automating the repetitive and structuring the complex, we help our partners unlock new opportunities for innovation and growth.
You’ll be joining a collaborative team that values curiosity, ownership, and continuous learning. We work in an environment where ideas are heard, support is built-in, and outcomes matter. Everyone here has the chance to make a tangible impact on our products, our customers, and the industry.
In 2024, we raised £8M in Series A+ funding led by Augmentum Fintech, with continued support from MS & A D Ventures and FOMCAP IV. It’s an exciting time to join us as we scale our impact in London and beyond.
If you're looking to do meaningful work that’s already changing the industry for the better, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for a skilled and personable Solutions Engineer to build strong client relationships in order to build, configure and deliver technical solutions to meet individual client needs. The role combines programming expertise with a deep understanding of the insurance/insurtech space, comprising engineering, sales, and client success.
Successful candidates will join an established and growing team to meet the demands of growth, working collaboratively with Engineering, Product and Commercial teams. You will be responsible for proof of value / pilot projects that are pivotal to our growth strategy.
We're recruiting across a range of levels and w elcome applications from engineers of all experience levels. If you’re excited about what we’re building, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note, this is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week based at our HQ or at client site (City of London).
We're an equal opportunities employer, with a strong commitment to hiring from the rich diversity within our local communities. If you’d like to request a reasonable adjustment to the hiring process, please do let us know at any time and feel free to let us know your preferred pronouns.
If you feel that you don’t tick all the boxes of requirements, please do apply anyway - Artificial recognise the value of raw talent.
Please be aware as part of the application process we’ll be carrying out various background checks. These may include a criminal records check, checking your credit history, contacting your previous employers and/or verifying your academic qualifications.
