Role Objectives
Define and formalize a framework to manage configured products
Review solution designs and or client’s custom configuration (WW & JP)
Ensure architectural consistency with the Agatha platform
Support the organization’s transition to scale and maturity
Ensure Customer Success team has the tools to be successful in delivering client projects
Key Responsibilities
Architecture Structuring
Define, document, and maintain reference and target framework to manage configured products
Design, validate and govern integration patterns (APIs, connectors, event-driven flows)
Ensure alignment between product architecture and customer implementations including configuration and deployment models
Anticipate and address scalability, performance, security, and resilience and regulatory constraints across solutions
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines such as CFR 21 Part 11 and GAMP 5
Standardization
Establish configuration standards, best practices and framework to manage configured products.
Provide tools at product levels for CS to be able to effectively manage clients configuration throughout the client lifecycle.
Drive configuration rationalization, reduce uncontrolled customization and technical debt
Product, Tech & Delivery Interface
Act as a central architectural interface between Engineering, Product, and Customer Success teams (Worldwide & Japan).
Collect, analyze, and translate customer and CS requirements into architectural guidelines and solution patterns.
Secure, challenge, and contribute to the application and configuration roadmap, ensuring business value and technical coherence.
Support Delivery and Customer Success teams on advanced solution design, configuration planning, and prioritization.
Lead architecture and configuration reviews to assess progress, risks, and alignment with target configurations.
Serve as an architectural authority for complex or strategic customer engagements.
Supporting Growth & Maturity
Contribute to structuring the technical organization and decision-making
Support team upskilling through architecture reviews and coaching
Core Skills
Strong background in SaaS architecture and cloud-based systems
Proven ability to design scalable, standardized, and maintainable solutions
Solid understanding of integration patterns and distributed systems
Comfortable operating in evolving, fast-growing environments
Ideally, experience in a SaaS documentation management product in the lifescience industry
Soft Skills
Structured and systems-oriented mindset
Ability to set frameworks without creating unnecessary rigidity
Strong cross-functional leadership (without direct line management)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Profile
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
7+ years of experience in architecture-related roles (Solution, Software, or Technical Architect)
Experience in scale-up, SaaS, or transformation contexts is highly valued
At least 3 remote interviews and at least 1 interview on site
