We are looking for a Confirmed Data Scientist willing to join and reinforce our passionate Data Science Team. You will be provided both support from experienced Data Scientists and autonomy to perform your role. The range of activities planned for this opportunity goes from the data source with analytics, through state-of-the-art ML modeling, to the delivery of the results with deployed systems. At Craft.AI, we believe AI value comes when delivered to its final users. Be preprared to focus and learn on the production side of ML. You will also learn and stay up-to-date though our the internal training program and Craft.AI seminars (led by our R&D team).

In particular, you can expect to contribute to most of the following subjects:

• Contribute to the definition, design and implementation of the key Data Science functionalities of Craft.AI platform,
• Build ML applications to benchmark, stress-test and validate our MLOps platform in order to improve performance and relevance of our product,
• Comprehend the business & technical challenges of our clients & propsects, especially whan it comes to their data exploration and modeling,
• Think, design and implement custom applications & services with a strong “AI” focus, in collaboration with our clients,
• Take part of presale phases, in support of the Sales Team, especially by realizing and presenting prototypes & data studies;,

Technical Environnement

The technical environnements are diversified. Our main daily tools are:

• Python and its classic libraries : Pandas, Numpy, SkLearn, Flask,…
• Julia and R
• Several flavors of SQL and NoSQL
• Linux / Docker
• Dash and Shiny dashboarding frameworks.

• 1 year minimum of professional experience after your studies and internship;
• Master, engineering degree or PhD (STEM);
• Strong interest for systems understanding and for final users needs satisfaction;
• Experience in exploring, processing, visualizing on “real-world” datasets, statics & dynamics;
• Good knowledge of time serie approaches;
• Hands-on experience in usual Machine Learning algorithms (regressions, bagging models, Gradient Boosting models, neural networks);
• Basic skills in software development;
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English. Skills in French are strongly welcome.

The reasonably estimated salary package for this role ranges from X - Y, including an annual variable and stock options.

The recruitment process is made of 3 steps:

1. An interview (45 min), during which you will present yourself and your interests, along with a presentation of Craft.AI and our missions;

2. A technical interview with a Data Scientist on Machine Learning basics, some live coding and how to treat a real-world usecase;

3. A little energy usecase to deal with on your side with a last encounter to meet the Team and present what you did.
