In 2017, we opened a Share Service Center (SSC) in Prague, which supports the insurance company in many areas, one of which is IT. The local culture is much more punk than in the insurance company, but they still form a well-coordinated team. Of course, we must add that despite everything, we are still a corporation, and we have to follow the rules. A lot of natives and foreigners work on international projects here, so you will use English on a daily basis. All apps are developed by programmers at SSC tailor-made to individual insurance companies.

We are looking for a junior candidate to join the architecture team, who will focus mainly on the management and maintenance of the existing systems we use. It is a great entry position for a beginner who wants to gain experience in IT.

This role covers following activities

• Responsibility for maitain of software, servcice and API catalogues.
• Participate on Product and Release Backlogs.
• Maitain backlog task accordingly, prepare reports and othe documentation.
• Cooperation with product sqauds.
• Participation on Cardif SW and IT projects.
• Cooperation with 3rd parties and suppliers.
• Compliance with internal guidelines and rules within the IT dept. and company’s internal guidelines and rules.
• Assessing risks in the area under his/her control.

Your profile

• Fluent English spoken and written
• Previous experience in SW development/architecture will be appreciated
• Strong organizational skills; prioritization of tasks and projects
• Design and Analytical skills: UML / Design Patterns
• Understand: REST/ WSDL / SOAP
• Database and ORM: T-SQL (MS SQL server)
• Software tool: SPARX Enterprise Architect or another similar tool
