We are challenged to transition from a position of sheer market dominance to a sustainable, community-led growth engine. This role is not about maintaining the status quo, its about leading a turnaround and a transformation. You will be entrusted with the resources of a leading European player, and the complete autonomy to redefine Zenchef’s identity. Your mission is to craft a brand that is authentic, trendy, and indispensable for every Dutch restaurateur.

As a Marketing Lead your central mission is to fully reinstate trust and grow legitimacy by positioning Zenchef as THE essential restaurateur companion brand in the Netherlands. You will lead two responsibilities: Protecting Revenue & Influence and Driving Ecosystem-Led Growth
Brand and Community Leadership (The Authentic Dutch Voice)
Be the Chief Storyteller & Ambassador: Define and execute a locally rooted, modern, and trustworthy brand vision for Zenchef.
As the public face of the company, you will reshape perceptions following the migration, rebuild our reputation in Amsterdam, and position Zenchef as the true champion of restaurateurs. Your storytelling will not only restore trust but also fuel our expansion into
new markets by connecting authentically with people’s hearts and minds.
The Social & Community Engine: Lead the creation and management of Dutch social channels and NL-specific content that
informs, reassures, and inspires. You will cultivate community through recurring client dinners and city-based events, while launching an Ambassador/Vanguard program that re-engages key industry voices, strengthens advocacy, and rebuilds Zenchef’s presence in the hospitality ecosystem.
Thought Leadership: Reestablish Zenchef’s authority in the market through strategic PR initiatives, smart partnerships, and increased visibility at key tradeshows and industry gatherings. Your activations will rebuild trust, elevate our profile, and position Zenchef as a forward-thinking leader for restaurants across the Netherlands
2. Growth, Retention & Commercial Orchestration
Retention is the New Acquisition: Play a pivotal role in reducing churn by tailoring content, communication, and support programs for both legacy Formitable/Tablebooker customers who still need to migrate and newly onboarded clients. Leverage the upcoming B2C app launch to strengthen confidence in customer traffic, visibility, and the broader value Zenchef delivers.
Upsell Expertise: Design and execute NL-specific upsell journeys that unlock additional value for customers and fuel revenue growth. Define a clear activation strategy aimed at increasing upsell performance in the Netherlands by at least 20% in 2026.
Full-Funnel & Performance: Lead targeted, high-impact lead generation and consideration campaigns that address market concerns head-on. Integrate reassurance—such as improved Trustpilot scores and customer testimonials—across all paid assets to drive credibility, conversion, and brand preference.
Ecosystem Builder: Strengthen and expand the partner ecosystem through co-marketing initiatives, joint prospecting, and collaborative selling with integration partners. Prioritize product integrations to eliminate integration-related churn. Additionally, develop a strong local affiliate network and elevate the referral program to accelerate high-quality inbound demand

Fluency in Dutch and English: Full professional proficiency in both written and spoken Dutch and English is essential.
Entrepreneurial Mindset: You combine hands-on field marketing with strategic thinking. You’re comfortable being on the ground—creating local activations, gathering insights, and driving localization—while simultaneously shaping long-term strategy and market direction.
Brand & Community Expertise: Proven experience in building and managing a brand’s reputation and community in a local market, ideally in contexts where trust needs to be rebuilt or market skepticism must be overcome.
Strategic Growth Focus: A strong understanding that in a mature and competitive market, growth comes from maximizing retention, nurturing communities, and building an ecosystem-led demand engine that accelerates sustainable impact.
