Tikehau Capital is seeking an Investment Analyst for its Private Debt Secondaries team, to be based in New York. In this dynamic role, you will support investments across the private credit market and work closely with senior professionals from our global offices.


JOB DESCRIPTION:


  • Support all stages of the investment process, including deal sourcing, screening, market analysis, execution, and due diligence.
  • Contribute to the creation and updating of marketing presentations and investor materials.
  • Monitor the existing portfolio and produce frequent investment reports and updates.
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models to analyze both investment opportunities and portfolio performance.
  • Conduct bottom-up financial, sector, and market research using proprietary and public data sources.
  • Prepare and present clear investment recommendations to the broader team and Investment Committee.
  • Assist in the development and management of proprietary databases and information sources related to private credit and secondary investments.
  • Evaluate new strategies, sectors, and transaction types with creativity and analytical rigor.
  • Utilize advanced analytics, programming tools, and AI-driven solutions to enhance deal sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.

 


Profil recherché

PROFILE:


  • University degree in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment banking, secondary advisory, or similar roles, ideally with private credit or secondaries exposure.
  • Demonstrated academic or professional success.
  • Outstanding analytical skills for valuation and investment analysis involving credit and equity investments.
  • Strong quantitative and modelling abilities, with a proven track record in building and maintaining complex financial models and databases.
  • Programming/data research experience and advanced Excel skills are a significant advantage; proficiency with AI, data science, and analytics tools for financial analysis and decision support is highly valued.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong work ethic, and a genuine desire to learn and succeed.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and deliver clear presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
  • Eligibility to work in the United States (citizenship or valid work authorization).
