About the Role:

The Process Quality VP provides strategic and operational leadership for Process Quality, Supplier Quality teams across all products manufactured and will help to form and lead the company’s overall quality strategy for APAC.

The Process Quality VP ensures that robust risk mitigation for new and sustaining products and will ensure that there the relevant processes and systems are applied to secure quality of product and service.

Continuous improvement (Lean/Six Sigma), will be applied in everything that is undertaken in the design, development, manufacture and servicing of our products.

The Process Quality VP will oversee the Process and Supplier Quality teams, and critically review, all activities such as CAPAs, PFMEA’s Process Quality plans, Supplier development programs, integrating quality into the product lifecycle whilst ensuring manufacturing excellence and customer satisfaction.

This leader is a critical bridge between global product development, 1st & 2nd tier suppliers, customer service and executive leadership and will help to facilitate to quality assured approach.

The Process Quality VP will ensure that the highest quality standards are consistently achieved while supporting prouduct quality and cost improvement initiatives. There will be lazer focus on ensuring consumer satisfaction

Responsibilities

  • To help to develop and execute the Quality Vision, Strategy, and Plan for Process & Supplier Quality, aligned with SharkNinja business objectives.
  • Define long-term quality goals, and metrics, aligning them with business objectives; lead, mentor, and develop the quality team.
  • Establish and continuously evolve SharkNinja Quality Systems and Processes with suppliers partners to drive manufacturing and process excellence in everything that we do.
  • Design, maintain and evolve the QMS, including document control, training, change control, and deviation management processes.
  • Continue to develop a quality culture that is aligned with the business objectives, throughout the organization and supply chain.
  • Ensure adherence to SharkNinja Quality Systems through structured audits, governance mechanisms, and performance reviews. Ensure adherence to industry standards and relevant regulatory requirements. Manage internal audits and external regulatory inspections/client audits.
  • Lead risk identification and mitigation across safety, reliability, regulatory compliance. There will be significant focus on supporting consumer satisfaction ensuring that products are built to specification and to ensure customer satisfaction for every product which is built.
  • Lead and sponsor cross-functional containment efforts during critical quality or supply chain disruptions, ensuring root cause resolution, corrective and preventive action.
  • Optimize factory systems and processes using quality and manufacturing data to drive process and product quality improvements. To drive and to share best practice in everything that we do through lessons learned, 6 sigma, and Kaizen events
  • Utilize and to continue to develop quality dashboards for every 1st and critical 2nd tier supplier, to continually review quality KPI’s, analyze trends, and to take action to drive immediate improvements

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in Quality Management.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a quality and/or operations management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean, and other quality methodologies.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex quality data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
  • Lead Auditor certification is preferred.
  • Solid experience in supplier quality management systems and processes.
  • Strong project management skills with a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent collaboration skills, with experience working across global, cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in both Mandarin and English.
