About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Game Acquisition Director with a deep understanding of the Roblox ecosystem to lead strategic acquisitions, partnerships, and investment opportunities.

This candidate will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing acquisitions or strategic deals with Roblox Creators. The ideal candidate combines strong deal-making, scouting, and negotiation skills with a solid understanding of Roblox analytics and key metrics to evaluate games potentials.

The role reports to the Managing Director ASIA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Scouting & Deal Sourcing

  • Identify and scout high-potential Roblox studios, creators, and development teams globally.

  • Build and maintain a strong network within the Roblox ecosystem, including developers, studios, publishers, and community leaders.

  • Monitor trends, performance metrics, and emerging opportunities across the Roblox platform.

  • Proactively source acquisition, partnership, or investment opportunities aligned with company strategy.

2. Game Acquisition Execution

  • Lead the end-to-end M&A process, including target identification, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and deal execution.

  • Structure acquisition deals, partnerships, revenue-sharing models, or strategic collaborations with Roblox Creators.

  • Work closely with legal, finance, and leadership teams to finalize agreements and ensure compliance.

4. Post-Deal Integration

  • Support integration of newly acquired Games.

  • Ensure alignment with production pipelines, operational processes, and growth objectives.


Profil recherché

  • 5+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, business development, or strategic partnerships, preferably within gaming, tech, or digital platforms.

  • Strong understanding of the Roblox ecosystem, including developer communities, game monetization, and platform dynamics.

  • Proven track record of negotiating complex deals, partnerships, or acquisitions.

  • Strong scouting, networking, and relationship-building skills within the gaming or creator ecosystem.

  • Ability to evaluate game performance metrics, studio capabilities, and growth potential.

  • Experience working with game studios, creators, or digital content ecosystems is highly preferred.

  • Background in game Publishing / Live Ops, gaming investments, or venture capital is a plus.

  • Familiarity with live-service game models and virtual economies is a plus.

  • Fluent English communication.
