The Data Ops & Governance Manager plays a key role within the AI & Data Factory, which provides services for the department as well as the entire group. To strengthen the growth of our AI & Data Factory - structured around the poles: Operations & Governance | AI & Data Engineering | Data Products - we are looking for a Data Ops & Governance Manager. He/She will manage end-to-end delivery and operation of data services at Nexans (on time, with the right level of quality, and within budget).

Candidate Profile:

Within the Operations & Governance pole under the direction of the Head of Data, this key position will combine technical expertise and leadership to accelerate our digital transformation.

We are looking for an experienced professional with:

• Solid experience in project, budget, and resource management
• A good understanding of the organization and key stakeholders
• The ability to communicate on both business and technical subjects

Responsibilities and Tasks:

• Implement and maintain data platform infrastructure, ensuring continuity of existing domains
• Execute data governance policies and lead teams focused on data operations and governance
• Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across all systems and applications
• Optimize the data environment, manage project monitoring, and oversee application maintenance
• Support data-driven decision making and foster effective communication across teams

Required Technical Skills:

• In-depth expertise in Data Software Engineering
• Knowledge of ERP and transactional data management systems (ERP, SAP, CRM, Business Objects)
• Solid experience with ETL technologies and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Deep knowledge of virtual environments and packaging systems
• Skills in backend application and API development
• Experience with machine learning and AI frameworks

• Degree from an engineering school or equivalent
• Significant experience in managing digital commercial devices and data foundations for industrial production
• Proficiency in French and English
• Strong leadership and ability to lead a technical team
