Job Description

Reporting to the Head of MEA Market Intelligence and D&D for sales, you will be responsible for analyzing the markets and the commercial performance in close collaboration with Middle East & Africa Sales teams.

Key responsibilities : 

  • Conducting an annual assessment of the yeast and ingredients market using the group's existing tools.
  • Monitoring and analyzing, through own tools and on a monthly basis :
    • Monthly volume, prices positioning & contribution, and market coverage to benchmark our products.
    • Analyzing yeast imports from competitors by market.
    • Consolidating landed costs and Stock & Sales from our different markets.
  • Providing management with clear and regular reporting on our performance, and securing the follow-up and updates on strategic action plans.
  • Conducting ad-hoc market analyses and supporting the Business Development team for Marketing/Ingredients and Baking. 
  • Building volume and price scenarios for the budget, in full cooperation with SOP and our local sales teams. 


Profil recherché

Postgraduate degree from business school, engineering school or university in economics, management, mathematics or statistics with a strong focus on market analysis. You have at least 5 years experience in business analysis across international markets. 

Technical skills : 

  • Proficiency in analysis tool (excel, access…)
  • Proficiency in reporting tool (PowerBI)
  • Proficiency in  Office 365
  • Proficiency in CRM tool
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written)

Soft skills : 

  • Analytical and decision making ability
  • Figures & financing analysis
  • Thrive (or comfortable) in a matrix environment by establishing and maintaining fruitful relationships
  • Ability to adapt to other cultures

Additional Information

1 to 3 trips/year to be planned within the MEA region (of 1 day to 1 week).
