Your mission:
Tellent is looking for a Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our internal solid team. In this role, you will work closely with marketing, sales, customer success, and product teams to help drive our go-to-market strategy, commercial roadmap, positioning, and sales enablement for our French region.
In this role, you will be responsible for the commercial launches and releases, product messaging, positioning, and Product Marketing strategy for our Talent Management Suite and features. You will also tell the story of our HR tech products internally and ignite the excitement of all internal stakeholders.
About the Team
The product marketing team is a group of dynamic and talented individuals dedicated to driving growth and revenue through strategic marketing initiatives. Composed of skilled marketers with a passion for innovation, the team thrives on collaboration and creativity to achieve our company’s goals.
Your 12-month journey:
During the first 3 months:
Have spoken to dozens of customers (or listened to their calls)
Have used our products extensively and know all of our differentiating features
Have run a product launch internationally
Collaborated with key members of our customer and product management teams
Within 6 months:
Have taken complete ownership of your market and have a complete view on what our commercial teams need
Have a 6-month-long plan for upcoming feature and product launches
Have mastered the Tellent products and have a deep understanding of the HR tech industry
Fully understand our internal ecosystem and be able to collaborate cross-functionally
After 1 year:
Have become the leading voice and expert for the French market and are intimately familiar with market trends, customer demand, competition and partner dynamics.
Have successfully launched a year-full new features to market and improved our launch engine
Have a deep understanding of our customer’s needs and how our product solves their problems
Know the magic that connects our product with our customers and embeds that into every launch you manage, content you write, and conversation you have
Built several new engines for our GTM motion
What will you be doing?
Develop and constantly refine the positioning and messaging for our solutions, which are built for talent teams, HR leaders, and recruiters.
Gather customer and competitive research and use it to influence product strategy and drive effective messaging
Be the internal thought leader for our Commercial teams around the value and benefits of every Tellent product line
Work with our Sales Engineering team to roll out new product launches, build subject matter decks, and core content
Lead (commercial) enablement efforts to ensure our go-to-market and Customer Success teams are equipped with the right knowledge, tools, and collateral to market and sell
Work closely with our go-to-market and Customer Success teams to support ongoing Product Education initiatives around how to engage their customers on new features.
What you’ll bring to the team:
5+ years of B2B product marketing experience or equivalent working experience, ideally in the SaaS space
Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects to completion
You are action-oriented and can operate independently and, in many cases, without much pre-determined process
You’re strategic — you’ll co-own the strategy with the rest of your team. You will be marketing’s SME for your feature set.
You’re adept at translating complex product concepts into commercial offering
Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
Ambitious, with a growth mindset, and can lead projects with a high level of autonomy
