As Hello Tomorrow blooms, we are looking for a Finance Manager (Responsable administratif et financier, RAF) who will be the right hand of our Director of Finance, Administration, HR & Legal.
Together with the Director and our Finance Operations Specialist, you will be part of the Finance & Administration team and we are looking for someone rigorous and passionate about data, process, and business related analysis to help our leaders make better decisions, and our organization grow sustainably.
YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
As the right hand of the Director of Finance, Administration and Legal, you will be responsible for overseeing the company’s Finance Operations, driving FP&A, and partnering with the different business leaders to assist them in the decision-making process.
More precisely, reporting to our Director of Finance, Administration, HR & Legal you will:
Finance Operations & Accounting
Track and oversee payables and receivables managed by our Finance Operations Specialist
Collaborate with the accounting firm: monitor and ensure the accuracy of accounting data
Coordinate relevant stakeholders to define schedules and ensure our quarterly and annual closings are completed on time
Ensure data accuracy and reliability on our financial & accounting systems
Financial Planning
Maintain and improve the company’s integrated financial model (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
Contribute to the budgeting process by assisting leaders with the (re)building of their budgets, cost optimisation and forecasting
Develop scenario analyses to support strategic decisions (pricing, new markets, hiring pace, etc.)
Provide ad-hoc deep dives for the leadership
Assist the leadership in the development of business plans and long-term financial models
Business Performance & Financial Reporting
Produce and analyse monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports (P&L, cash flow, margins)
Analyse the performance of the different departments and translate business questions into clear and actionable analyses for the leadership
Provide ad-hoc deep dives for the leadership
Build and develop financial dashboards (KPIs, margins, profitability by activity, etc.)
Spend the necessary time with different stakeholders to fully understand business issues and their financial impacts
Administration, Compliance & Tax
Collaborate with local tax advisors and authorities to resolve tax issues
Ensure tax and regulatory compliance across our global footprint
Contribute to the development and execution of tax strategies
Advise leadership on the tax implications of strategic business decisions and cross-border transactions
Analyse tax implications in key areas such as new market entry, subsidiary creation, global hiring, etc.
Oversee of the administrative and legal obligations of the company
Monitor insurance policies, supplier and service provider contracts
Process, Systems & Continuous improvement
Harmonise management tools, methods and processes in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data and improve reporting
Implement tools and automations (Google Sheets, SaaS tools, workflows)
Identify friction points in the admin/finance processes and educate operational teams on finance/admin issues
Document finance/admin processes to enable scalability
Strategic Initiatives and Projects
Collaborate with other departments to drive cross-functional projects and initiatives
Contribute to the research of new fundings, both dilutive and non-dilutive
YOUR PREVIOUS EXPERIENCES
You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
You have a higher degree in Business Finance, Accounting or similar.
You have a proven track record in accounting, business partnering, reporting, tax readiness, and project management.
Experience working in a multi-company or group environment is a plus.
Experience in a growing SME is a plus.
Experience in an international working environment is a plus.
YOUR SKILLS & TALENTS
You are bilingual in French AND English.
You are very autonomous and rigorous with a strong sense of priorities.
You are extremely data-driven and highly analytical.
You have a strong strategic vision, business acumen, and proactive approach.
You have a knack for structuring processes and continuous improvement.
You are constructive and always seek to find solutions.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint and have a working knowledge of G Suite (Mail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, etc) and Power BI.
You are familiar with accounting, receivables, payables, and treasury management softwares.
You have an interest in our mission and in deep tech, innovation, science and are keen to learn more about it.
You are a team player, curious, empathetic, humble and eager to do your best to create a positive impact!

You can’t work in Paris (2 days per week on-site).
You do not have the required relevant professional experience.
You are not fluent in English and French (strong B2 level minimum expected)
You are not seeking a generalist role.
