Join us at GoStudent as a People Operations Manager and play a pivotal role in overseeing People Operations for our Italian and Spanish markets. From handling employee relations and legal compliance to managing the full employee lifecycle and supporting payroll processes, this role is instrumental in ensuring a seamless and engaging employee experience across both regions.

Your Role in Our Journey 

  • Lead employee relations and legal compliance topics, ensuring alignment with internal policies and legal requirements.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle process, prioritizing an exceptional employee experience and liaising with global P&O departments as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for P&O-related enquiries from employees and managers, providing guidance and support on policies and procedures.
  • Coach and advise managers on P&O policies and procedures, fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
  • Support the payroll team in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, collaborating to address any discrepancies or issues.
  • Develop and implement local P&O policies and best practices, promoting alignment with global standards and fostering a positive work culture.

Your impact

  • Proven Expertise: Extensive work experience in HRBP or People Operations roles in Italy and Spain (at least 3 years).
  • Legal Compliance: Comprehensive knowledge of Italian and Spanish labor laws and HR lifecycle management to guarantee organizational compliance.
  • Payroll Proficiency: Understanding of Italian payroll processes to maintain accuracy in payroll operations.
  • Organizational Efficiency: Excellent organizational skills to prioritize vital projects for P&O success.
  • Effective Communication: Strong communication skills foster collaboration and transparency.
  • Tech Savvy: Demonstrated computer literacy ensuring smooth P&O processes with MS Office, HRIS, and payroll systems.
  • Global Collaboration: Proficiency in English and Italian (Spanish would be a major plus) enabling seamless communication with global stakeholders.
