Main duties

Our Finance team is currently looking for temporary support for a few months. This short-term assignment is a great opportunity to bring your expertise to an international, dynamic environment and contribute to high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the monthly financial reporting process, consolidating data across entities and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal standards.

  • Prepare and coordinate annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly variance analysis, in collaboration with business and finance stakeholders.

  • Deliver in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, including margin analysis, cost center performance, and revenue trends.

  • Act as a Finance Business Partner to operational managers, providing financial insights, guidance, and support in budget tracking and forecasting.

  • Oversee balance sheet account reconciliations and ensure robust financial controls are maintained across assigned entities.

  • Coordinate with local finance teams or external providers to ensure smooth month-end closings and accurate reporting for international offices.

  • Support internal and external audits, preparing required documentation and following up on audit recommendations.

  • Contribute to cross-functional projects aimed at improving financial processes, including reporting automation and system enhancements.

  • Provide financial expertise and act as a go-to resource for non-financial teams on finance-related matters.

  • Support the implementation and improvement of financial planning tools (e.g. Power BI).

Profil recherché

Preferred experience / Education / Job requirements

Skills

  • Strong experience in financial planning, analysis and reporting (preferably in an international environment) 

  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial controls 

  • Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and translate it into clear business insights 

  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams 

  • Proficient in Excel and financial reporting systems; experience with BI tools is a plus 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal 

  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 

  • Independent and quick learner, ability to determine priorities 

  • Affinity with IT  

  • Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office with advanced experience in Excel usage) 

Languages required

  • English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • French is a plus
