As a Senior DevSecOps & Platform Engineer within our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of our platform while actively contributing to the development of our applications.

This is a hybrid role where you will both build software features and strengthen the infrastructure, automation, and security practices that support them.

Our platform is primarily composed of Symfony-based applications, currently hosted on Platform.sh, with parts of our infrastructure running on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with the development team to design secure systems, automate deployments, improve operational processes, and develop application features that support our business.

You will also contribute to evolving our infrastructure and developer platform to support modern engineering practices, including automation and AI-assisted development workflows.

Your mission is to embed security, automation, and operational excellence into our development lifecycle, while also contributing directly to the codebase and architecture of our products.

Here is an overview of the key responsibilities:

DevSecOps

• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure, on Platform.sh and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, security checks, and deployments.

• Integrate security practices into the development lifecycle, ensuring vulnerabilities are detected and addressed early.

• Monitor platform performance, availability, and security, implementing tools and processes to improve observability.

• Work closely with backend and frontend developers to improve infrastructure reliability and deployment processes.

• Define and implement infrastructure as code to standardize environments and ensure reproducibility.

• Ensure compliance with security best practices and maintain high standards in data protection and system access management.

• Participate in incident management and continuously improve system resilience and recovery procedures.

• Contribute to the evolution of our engineering platform to support automation, developer productivity, and emerging AI-assisted development tools.

• Contribute to the design and evolution of our infrastructure architecture, anticipating future scalability needs.

Software Engineering

• Develop and maintain backend features and services, primarily using PHP and Symfony.

• Write clean, maintainable, and secure code following modern development practices.

• Contribute to technical decisions regarding infrastructure, architecture, and operational strategy.

• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of the codebase.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver new product features and platform improvements.

At least 10 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, infrastructure engineering and Software development.

Strong experience with PHP and cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.

Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.

Solid understanding of modern infrastructure standards and tools.

Experience implementing security practices in cloud and application environments.

Familiarity with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, …).

Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools.

Experience in high-traffic platforms, marketplaces, or e-commerce environments.

Interest in modern developer platforms and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

Interest in building secure and scalable data pipelines.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

Good teamwork and effective communication skills.

Excellent written and spoken skills in English.

IMPORTANT: This role does not require proficiency in French, as all interactions within the team are conducted in ENGLISH.
