As an Engineering Manager, you’ll play a key role in building, growing, and leading the talents that are responsible for our server platform. You’ll ensure our backend systems are highly scalable, stable, and secure, while driving best practices in engineering and infrastructure. You’ll also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including confidential computing platforms, to keep Dashlane ahead of the curve.

At Dashlane you will:
Build a strong ownership and accountability culture within your team, as the business and product complexity grow at a rapid pace.
Help your direct reports grow and develop as managers, leaders, engineers, and teammates
Recruit new software engineers, and participate in Dashlane’s effort to be visible in the tech community in Lisbon
Support your team and make them autonomous by giving them all the appropriate tools they need to deliver without friction
Lead managerial initiatives to improve our current systems and processes in support of the company’s mission
Deliver Engineering strategy goals and actively contribute to shaping roadmaps and technical initiatives, including refinement sessions, ADRs, and other technical documents.
Work closely with product and business stakeholders to deliver on our Product Roadmap
Help define the direction of the Product Experience teams to improve the stability, security, and quality of the Dashlane product
Work with passionate teams of engineers, product managers, testers, customer support agents, and others in a friendly and multicultural environment
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in software engineering
2+ years of experience in people management (ideally in a distributed environment)
Fluency in English
We’re Also Looking For:
Javascript/Typescript experience
Experience with a company at roughly Dashlane’s size and scaling up (100-500 employees)
Experience working in a distributed team across multiple timezones
You have a BS in Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Management, or similar relevant field
