Overview

Taster is looking for a Sourcing Manager to join our French team.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career (2-5 years of experience) who is passionate about culinary innovation, project management, and process optimization.

As the bridge between our product and procurement teams you will play a key role in sourcing and onboarding new ingredients into the French market. Your mission: ensure every new ingredient enhances our customer experience while meeting Taster’s quality and operational standards.

Based in Paris, you will work closely with local teams: Product, FSQA, Supply Chain Operations.

What you will do

  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end process for new ingredient requests (NID), ensuring timely delivery and adherence to critical paths.

  • Gatekeeping: Review and validate ingredient requests, ensuring only feasible and relevant proposals move forward (to Culinary testing, SKU creation, etc.).

  • Sourcing & Onboarding: Coordinate with Procurement Managers and suppliers to source new ingredients and facilitate efficient onboarding.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, FSQA, and Supply Chain teams to guarantee ingredient compliance (quality, safety, performance).

  • Communication: Act as the liaison between teams ensuring consistency and alignment across markets.

  • Continuous Improvement: Support SKU improvement initiatives by refining specifications or formulations to drive ingredient performance.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2-5 years in procurement, supply chain, or product/portfolio management (internships and first jobs included).

  • Skills:
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, both verbal and written.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement.

    • Self-starter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    • Proficient in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides).

  • Languages: Fluent in French and English (both required). Additional languages are a plus.
