What if your internship made an impact?
Ranked #1 among the world’s most sustainable companies and 2nd in the HappyTrainees ranking, Schneider Electric offers a rewarding experience, recommended by 92.9% of our interns and apprentices.
And that’s no coincidence! Our culture is built on strong values: Inclusion, Mastery, Purpose, Action, Curiosity, and Teamwork, enabling everyone to fully contribute to the transformation toward a more sustainable world.
You will be joining a company with 150,000 employees, present in more than 100 countries, and a global leader in energy management and automation.
Joining Schneider Electric means much more than becoming part of a large international group!
Context:
For the past 10 years, Schneider Electric has been training people in energy-related professions in emerging countries. The Group has partnered with more than 200 organizations (mainly NGOs) to provide existing training centers with expertise, training content, equipment, and educational tools.
To date, Schneider Electric has trained over 300,000 people and aims to train one million people by 2025.
This skilled workforce represents an incredible pool of talent ready to meet the growing needs of the clean energy sector. Ensuring high-quality training and helping them enter the job market and access decent living conditions is essential in the fight against poverty.
The Group now seeks to develop online training programs to make them accessible to as many people as possible. To achieve this, deepening theoretical knowledge about human functioning-especially in a context of increasing interaction with tools integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI)-is a current priority for the Group.
As this is a research internship, the goal is to develop a relevant research question with a view to preparing a CIFRE PhD thesis within the company (drafting a thesis project in collaboration with professional and academic supervisory teams) focused on human learning cognitive processes in a digital context integrating AI.
Your missions:
You will develop a research question on the design of innovative digital learning materials for beginner learners in electricity. To answer this, you will conduct an experimental study.
You will be expected to:
