Ray Studios is the European leader in tattoo removal, currently operating in three countries — and growing fast.
We’re now building a dedicated Expansion Team and looking for an Expansion Project Manager based in Paris, with strong knowledge and professional experience in the Irish and UK markets.
This is an exciting freelance opportunity to lead the opening of new studios across Ireland and the UK. You’ll work from our Paris headquarters, with regular trips to both countries, and collaborate closely with our central Expansion Team.
As a Freelance Expansion Project Manager, you will oversee and drive the rollout of new Ray Studios locations across Ireland and the UK — from location scouting to opening day — in full coordination with the Expansion Team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Identifying and assessing the best locations in each target city.
Sourcing and securing premises, preparing initial project plans.
Selecting and managing construction companies and local suppliers, negotiating offers and contracts.
Coordinating all stakeholders (internal teams, contractors, landlords, local authorities).
Following up on site progress and ensuring openings are delivered on time and within budget.
Managing logistics and administrative tasks related to fit-out, furniture, and supplies.
You’ll also play a key strategic role by:
Conducting regulatory, legal, and administrative research for studio setup (licenses, compliance, insurance, etc.).
Identifying key local partners (legal, accounting, construction, regulatory) to secure our long-term operations in both markets.

Freelance professional with a background in project management, retail expansion, or real estate development.
Based in Paris, with excellent understanding of the Irish and UK markets (professional experience or network in these regions is essential).
Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Fluent in English (native or bilingual level); French is a strong plus.
Knowledge of local construction, permitting, and retail operations in Ireland and/or the UK.
Entrepreneurial mindset — proactive, organized, and results-driven.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to Ireland and the UK.
