Every journey begins with a first step. Planon offers a wide range of opportunities to gain unique and valuable experiences for your future. During this internship, you’ll take on various tasks within the team. You’ll start with a training on our framework, so you’ll know how to build components within it. Your day begins with a team stand-up, after which everyone gets to work. You’ll typically work on a project for a few weeks, collaborating with colleagues from the Development Product team to contribute to customer solutions. Whether you're solving a customer problem, building a new feature, or developing a model, your tasks will be tailored to your interests and skill level. 

As an intern, you’ll be engaged in:

• Learning, developing, and getting acquainted with the business world. 
• Developing new functionalities for customer solutions within our software framework. 
• Analyzing problems and designing solutions or new features. 
• Contributing to projects that enhance your technical knowledge and have a direct impact on our software. 
  Working with Java and other modern technologies to create innovative software.
• Collaborating in a SCRUM team, consisting of a functional designer, tester(s), and developers.

This internship takes place at our headquarters in Nijmegen, easily accessible by public transport. Our colleagues work in a hybrid setup but enjoy coming to the office, which is seen as a “green” clubhouse where different cultures come together. During your internship, you’ll be part of the Solutions Development department, which consists of around 13 teams, each with 6 to 10 colleagues from various countries. The informal and pleasant working atmosphere contributes to great collaboration. We work hybrid, and your internship supervisor will be a Senior Developer. Together, you’ll focus on your personal and professional development.

•  A bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Computer Science or Software Development. 
• Good command of the English language. Dutch is welcome but not required.
