About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Senior Energy Consultant to temporarily join our team. This consultant will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to Kraken Technologies in the energy sector of Portugal. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in energy management, renewable energy technologies, and energy policy, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative strategies to address clients' energy challenges.

What you'll do

  • Conduct comprehensive energy audits and assessments for Kraken Technologies to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and cost savings in the Danish market.
  • Develop customized energy management plans and strategies tailored to meet the specific needs and goals of the company.
  • Analyze energy consumption data and trends to identify areas for optimization and recommend appropriate energy conservation measures.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in energy technologies, regulations, and market trends in Denmark to provide informed recommendations to Kraken Technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support the development and implementation of sustainable energy projects.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations to help us achieve their sustainability goals and reduce their environmental impact.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and proposals to communicate findings, recommendations, and project updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Gain an understanding of the Kraken product to guide requirements gathering with the client. 
  • Build a baseline plan to adapt Kraken product to the known market-specific (Denmark) requirements and based on your own market experience
  • You must be willing to challenge beliefs, have the ability to see through multiple viewpoints and, if needed, reach beyond your remit to support the client.

    Key skills that are needed

  • Experience in energy industry (experience working at or with an energy supplier or in distribution primarily focusing in the services distributors provide to suppliers - preferably with low voltage)
  • English and Danish required
  • Technical mindset
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills 
  • Proficient in tools such as miro and and office suite
  • This is a 9 month Contractor position (that could potentially be extended) starting ASAP. We are looking for someone who is available a minimum of 3 days per week.
