DEPARTMENT MISSIONThis position reports to the Retail Planning Manager as part of the Retail Merchandising Team of Hermès Benelux-Nordics based at the Head Office in Brussels. The main objective of the Retail Merchandising Team is to ensure a singular and coherent product assortment in the Hermès stores in our region, to achieve sales objectives and surprise our customers.As part of the Retail Planning Team, the Demand & Supply Analyst will be our key business partner providing quick and accurate analyses to address specific business questions or concerns. She/He will support the team in analyzing and monitoring our sales performances and inventory level. He/she will be able to take responsibility in the update, the continuous improvement and the development of dashboards, K.P.I.s and other tools to help us gain in efficiency.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. RETAIL ANALYSIS & REPORTINGS:

  • Update the Retail Dashboards (Daily, Weekly, & Monthly) for both headquarters and stores, to track performance and communicate key insights.
  • Gather, analyze and interpret sales data to support decision-making processes.
  • Identify areas for improvement for existing sales reportings and suggest optimizations.
  • Prepare and participate in Business Reviews with store management teams.
  • Verify and validate the consistency of data to ensure the reliability of reports.
  • Conduct ad-hoc analysis as required by the management or other departments to provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
2. INVENTORY & DISTRIBUTION:
  • Optimize our stock levels in-store and organize regional rebalancing to support our business to ensure we have the right product at the right place at the right time.
  • Support our Retail Supply Planner with the store replenishment from our central warehouse.
  • Develop new reportings to monitor our stock value and keep track of our historical stock levels.
  • Create a delivery dashboard to monitor our invoicing and provide our Retail Supply Planner with data-driven insights.
  • Support our RSP with monthly product reorders.
  • Update and monitor the availability of our products in our remote and corporate stocks to help our teams to define our product launch and replenishment strategy.
  • Monitor and improve key K.P.I.s: overstock, shortage, availability, etc.
  • Contribute to optimizing inventory levels and to identifying supply issues.
  • Generate and communicate the destocking lists and provide the Merchandising team with key leanings.
3. DEMAND ANALYSIS & FORECASTINGS:
  • Contribute to the update and the continuous improvement of our existing sales performance dashboards for each Métier.
  • Develop new reportings and K.P.I.s to provide us with data-driven insights to help us identify new business opportunities or risks, and better monitor the actual business.
  • Regularly update and monitor our stock equations to enable accurate forecasting and prepare the Open To Buy.
  • Follow our stock disposal rate to make sure we meet with finance expectations.
  • Make sure all our catalogs are regularly updated.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Master's degree in business, finance, or data engineer.
  • Mindset: Accuracy, curiosity, reliability and analytical depth.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel.
  • Experience in analyzing large databases.
  • Strong analytical skills: strong ability to analyze data, identify trends and draw conclusions.
  • Very good communication skills, organizational skills and ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and willing to continuous development.
  • Fluent in English and French
