Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure & Hosting Technical Expert to ensure the stability, security, and evolution of critical production environments. This role involves managing complex infrastructures, driving modernization initiatives, and supporting automation and resilience projects. The position requires strong technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to operate in high-stakes, mission-critical contexts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain hosted infrastructures (servers, storage, backup, security, OS, VMware, Citrix, databases) in production environments.

• Design and implement infrastructure upgrades; produce technical documentation (DAT), procedures, and compliance reports.

• Ensure security and compliance: apply best practices, implement resilience measures (hardening, backup/restore, DR).

• Industrialize operational processes using automation tools and CI/CD pipelines for server provisioning and lifecycle management.

• Deploy dashboards and KPIs to monitor infrastructure health and optimize performance.

• Participate in technical committees, analyze requirements, and propose solutions aligned with business needs.

• Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams, lead operational changes, and provide Level 3 support.

Mandatory skills:

• Advanced expertise in Linux (RedHat) and Windows Server; Active Directory and DNS administration.

• Virtualization & VDI: VMware ESXi and Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops.

• Enterprise Storage (EMC, NetApp, PureStorage)

• Automation & CI/CD:

• GitHub, scripting (Shell, PowerShell, Python), and integration pipelines.

• ITIL Framework: Incident, problem, and change management.

• Performance Management: Monitoring tools and optimization techniques.

• Cloud Platforms: Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and / or AWS

Appreciated skills:

• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure (AWS is also a plus).

• Knowledge of datacenter architecture and TOGAF principles.

• Familiarity with NIST/CIS security frameworks and automated compliance.

• Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g., Ansible).

• Ability to lead technical discussions, produce clear documentation, and collaborate effectively in global teams.
