We are looking for a verification and validation engineer to grow our System Engineering team. You will refer directly to the Lead System Engineering. You will have an important role in the development process of our product. As test engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing tests to ensure the quality, safety, and regulatory compliance of our product.
Your main missions will be:
Design and develop comprehensive test plans taking into consideration functional, safety, and regulatory requirements including FDA regulations (electrical safety, biocompatibility…).
Work closely with the R&D team and Product Team to understand product specifications and identify testing needs.
Set up and manage test environments
Write test protocols, bug collection and analysis
Perform acceptance testing, performance testing, safety testing
Identify and track issues and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the testing process.
Ensure tests conform to regulatory standards and industry requirements.
Gather user feedback.
Participate to the documentation and maintenance of system architecture, including hardware and software interfaces
Participate to risk management activities
Participate to design reviews
Support the cross-functional teams for writing, reviewing of low level requirements and ensure quality good practices;
Provide technical support to cross-functional teams, including troubleshooting and problem-solving with an emphasis on activities related to the calibration, precision & systems safety
Participate to change control management: design change impact analysis and follow-up
Develop test processes and procedures for production testing
Assists with training of new staff members as necessary
Test automation architect
You will participate to the design, development, and testing of Ganymed Robotics products working closely with R&D, QARA & Product teams, including mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, software engineers, and medical professionals.
Engineer diploma or equivalent university training
Previous experience of a minimum of 5 years in medical device testing, preferably in the field of surgical robotics.
Proficiency in using automated testing tools.
Knowledge of the regulatory environment
Knowledge in hardware and software
Knowledge of the constraints related to the operating room
Proven experience in structuring and writing technical documentation
Strong problem-solving, analysis and synthesis skills.
Good communication skills and ability to work independently within a highly-motivated team environment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
