AREA OF RESPONSABILITIES

The Managing Director manages the P&L and teams of one or more offices within the same country, defines and implements the business strategy in line with regional and corporate requirements, while complying with legal, financial and commercial local and corporate rules. The Country Manager has the same responsibilities, but without the legal representation role of the entity which the MD has.

MAIN MISSIONS

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

-          Participate personally and actively in business development & Account Management for key clients and prospects.

-          Define and implement the business strategy for the country, in accordance with the Group objectives; set targets and execute the action plan.

-          Act as a real leader for the Sales force by driving the business development, including relationships with the network of agents, by using the Group solutions and KPis such as pipeline review, SCBA…

-          Promote the green and digital offers as a leverage for value creation

-          Maximize the loyalty and value of existing clients by offering them a professional, high quality service and new business solutions.

-          Provide and secure local market intelligence, share info with the relevant stakeholders.

-          Represent and get exposure to the company through local networking events.

COST MANAGEMENT

-          Monitor and analyse the business results and the organization, set targets and take appropriate actions to achieve the targeted performance.

-          Prepare the budget and be accountable for its achievement all through the year.

-          Take appropriate measures to optimize financial health of the country through management of general expenses and adjustment of the structure to the volume of activity.

-          Report the activity to the HO on a monthly basis.

-          Be an active contributor to the regional and Group Strategy while liaising with the HO and Area Manager if any.

-          Demonstrate client centricity through effective interaction with stakeholders internally & externally.

-          Continuously optimize organizational structure at a country level.

-          Ensure credit Management, be in charge of checking clients’ balances and take appropriate actions, with the support of the Finance Business Partner.

-          Define and select the best local service providers in accordance with the Group rules.

-          Stay tuned on the business, industry and legal updates.

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

-          Ensure that the SOP and operational processes are well implemented and respected.

-          Be reliable for the data quality and integrity of operations.

-          Be responsible for the application of all operational Group rules, including but not limited to Profit Share, monthly closing deadlines, invoicing, monitoring of KPIs etc…

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT& LEADERSHIP

-          Develop a vision, share a common ambitious project based on conquest and entrepreneur spirit

-          Manage the teams by example, with integrity and respect for the staff, helping them perform in a fulfilling atmosphere.

-          Hire and retain the most talented people and make sure that they are in line with Clasquin’s values of Enthusiasm, Professionalism and Integrity.

-          Foster staff motivation and empowerment.

-          Develop the team and optimize their performance upon high standards.

-          Conduct a monthly activity review with the managers, share the monthly results, encourage the economic performance

-          Set annual objectives for the branch/office managers and conduct their annual evaluation and conduct the annual salary review for the teams with the HR

-          Establish a team spirit reflecting our “Clients, Profit & Fun” motto, celebrate the successes

-          Promote the Clasquin’s CSR policy and practices
