• Design, develop, and deploy GenAI models, with a focus on large language models (LLMs) and multimodal systems

• Build, fine-tune, and optimize AI agents capable of autonomous reasoning, planning, and task execution

• Develop end-to-end GenAI pipelines, from data ingestion and preprocessing to model serving and monitoring

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, data science) to integrate GenAI solutions into real-world applications

• Implement prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) strategies to enhance model performance and relevance

• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, latency, and ethical AI standards

• Stay up to date with the latest research and advancements in the generative AI landscape and apply them strategically

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers in the AI/ML and software teams.

We are looking for an experienced GenAI Engineer to join our newly established Generative AI team. This role calls for a skilled leader with a strong track record in developing advanced AI solutions and AI Agents powered by large language models (LLM). As one of the principal Engineers, you will play a key role in shaping our Generative AI strategy and roadmap, ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of AI innovation.

• You have a Master in engineering (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics…) and have at least 3 years of experience as a Sofware Developer / GenAI Engineer

• Excellent Software engineering background in Python, (developing application, API, frontend integration, security best practices)

• Extensive knowledge of cloud services and tools (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Deep understanding of LLMs fine-tuning and/or training lifecycle (LLMops)

• Hands-on experience with prompt engineering for LLMs (e.g., GPT-3, Gemini, etc.)

• Experience in fine-tuning pre-trained language models for specific tasks.

• You have a good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as GCP BigQuery,’ PostgreSQL, Cassandra, MongoDB

• You should be proficient in modern DevOps technologies. Specifically, you should have hands-on experience with at least one key tool-such as Kubernetes, Terraform, or Helm

• You are Fluent in English + in Dutch and/or French
