Veesion’s algorithm detects theft-related activities through real-time camera data analysis in stores. You will play a pivotal role in our company’s growth by deploying algorithms that have a significant impact on our client base.

Principales responsabilités

• Create and aggregate key performance metrics across our entire customer base;

• Manage and design the database architecture to optimize theoretical scores and ensure relevant metrics;

• Deploy large-scale analyses in collaboration with Data Scientists to inform development priorities and other optimizations;

• Improve the ML team’s work by scaling the training and the construction of the various databases, and improving their research methods;

• Collaborate with backend developers, DevOps teams, Data Scientists, and ML Engineers for production deployments, as well as liaising with the CSO and CEO.

Compétences

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Docker, and Git;

• Strong knowledge of at least one of the following cloud services: GCP, Azure, AWS; 

• Experience in metrics scraping;

• Data analysis and visualization skills;

• GPU-based model inference is a plus;

• Minimum of 2 years professional experience in data science, excluding internships.

Team: reports to the Head of Data, primarily collaborate with the two MLOPS and a team of 10 backend developers. Aim to hire two for this role to create an ambitious data team.
