Descriptif du poste

Veesion’s algorithm detects theft-related gestures by analyzing live camera data from stores. The role of a Data Scientist at Veesion may involve using machine learning techniques and has a significant component of statistical modeling.

Your role will be crucial in our company’s development, with your work being immediately applied.

The job will immerse you in a cutting-edge AI startup and improve your technical and theoretical skills in DevOPS, MLOPS, machine learning, coding practices, and tools for large-scale algorithm deployment and training.

Tasks:

  • Customizing and maximizing success metrics for each store through model selection and automatic hyperparameter tuning.

  • Database design and management to maximize theoretical scores and metric relevance.

  • Analyses related to various production metrics to inform development priorities and other optimizations.

  • Collaboration with dev backend, MLOPS teams for production implementation, and with CSO, CEO, and AI teams to define needs.


Profil recherché

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL (Docker is a plus).

  • Theoretical knowledge in statistics.

  • Data analysis, data visualization.

  • Machine Learning; time series experience is a plus.

  • Model inference on GPUs is a plus.

  • MLOPS skills are a plus.

  • 2 years of professional data science experience, excluding internships.

  • Clear, reproducible code

Team: Directly report to the CEO and CSO, primarily collaborate with the two MLOPS and a team of 10 backend developers. Aim to hire two for this role to create an ambitious data team.

  1. 45 min discussion with our HR manager.

  2. Technical test

  3. 1h30 discussion with our CTO

  4. A final discussion with our Head of Data & Head of Product
