RESPONSABILITIES

Under the supervision of the Head of Digital Strategy and Activation inside of the Corporate Communications and Brand team, the Website Manager is responsible for the global corporate website sanofi.com.

This involves

Editorial management

  • Defining and implementing the content strategy for our corporate website in alignment with communication objectives and key audiences, while meeting the needs of the wider visitor base
  • Interfacing with content contributors to align content briefs and requirements, mapping out effective user journeys, defining the SEO approach, and providing expert advice and guidance throughout the content production and integration process
  • Overseeing the functionality of the website; collaborating with colleagues across the business to handle technical updates and troubleshoot any issues

Performance reporting

  • With the support of agency partners, and in coordination with the Digital Activation Coordination Manager, defining KPIs, analyzing the performance of the website content, and ensuring that findings are formulated into actionable insights
  • Conducting both real-time optimization and monthly/quarterly reporting with recommendations

Content design & optimization

  • Overseeing the content integration and website development activities carried out both internally and by agency partners, ensuring that content delivers the best experience for users
  • Coordinating as necessary with the Digital Customer Experience team to align on design principles and implementation of content components to ensure the site content is always designed with its primary audiences in mind

PROFILE

Skills

  • Approximately 5-8 years of experience in managing English-language corporate or institutional websites of similar scale and scope
  • Clear vision of how to optimize corporate content for performance, including SEO
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to define priorities and allocate resources accordingly, and to coordinate project teams comprised of internal and external partners
  • An understanding of user experience concepts and approaches
  • Ability to delegate key tasks, with capability to be hands-on when necessary
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: a strong collaborator and problem-solver, who is able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Near native level of English (C2 or equivalent)
  • French language skills are a plus

Knowledge

  • Experience working in or with a large, diverse and complex organization 
  • Experience with communications in a tightly regulated environment is a plus
  • Experience in healthcare communications is a plus
