 For our Leuven office we are looking for a Project manager. The primary responsibility of the project manager is to design the park and implement energy projects, specifically:

 Main duties and responsibilities:

-Corporate speaker to local municipalities, regional authorities and the media during the realization of the energy park

-Ensuring the legal implementation of facilities related to urban development

-Ensuring that the requirements of building permits are met and fulfilled during the realization of the energy park

-Advise the development department in the development of the energy park design and implementation and technical details for the construction application

-Liaison with affected plant owners/tenants and local municipalities and regional authorities

-Follow up on the negotiations for the energy park facilities as required for construction implementation with the affected landowners/tenants and municipalities

-Follow-up on compensation scheme for land damage caused during construction realization

-Participate in the planning and budgeting of project implementation

-Organize the preselection of external engineering and study firms for the project design

-Follow-up on the engineering of civil and electrical infrastructure

-Ensure timely completion and within budget and according to the project company’s HSE and CSR policies

-Ensure adequate reporting of project progress and assessment of risks to management

You preferably hold a (technical) master’s degree or are equivalent through experience

You have 3 to 4 years of experience in a similar environment

You have experience in following up and planning projects

A specialization in (renewable) energy is a plus,

Dutch is your native language, but you have a good knowledge of French, both written and spoken, we also expect a good knowledge of English

You are assertive and communicative

You enjoy making and maintaining contacts

You can adapt to changing circumstances to ensure continuity within the operation
