Job description

You will be part of the Product Business Group working on improving our conversational IA low code platform capabilities, to help companies provide simple and efficient customer interactions at any time.

We are growing the teams to build our European Tech Hub and looking for a Site Reliability Engineer that will help us scale our infrastructure and improve our devops culture.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about infrastructure and devops culture, is eager to extend her/his technical expertise, and works well in fast-paced environment.

What will you be doing?

Your responsibilities:

  • provide developers with the tools for efficiently and safely deploying new releases to production
  • ensure the resiliency and availability of our platform
  • scale-up of our infrastructure, while keeping response times low and infrastructure costs under control
  • automate routine tasks to keep the team velocity high
  • investigate and fix the occasional production issues
  • extend our logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting capabilities
  • deploy the necessary measures to keep our client data secure
  • support our developers on subjects related to infrastructure

We face unique challenges due to the advanced customizability of our chatbots, the data protection requirements we guarantee to our clients, and the overall complexity of natural language processing pipelines. When a business team can their language understanding models, connect their chatbot with any third party API, and define complex logic for the conversation trees, ensuring that all our bots answer 100% of incoming messages is no easy task.

You will get the opportunity to work on a very modern infrastructure stack:

  • We use Kubernetes clusters deployed on Amazon Web Services
  • The latest and greatest in infrastructure management (no manual, routine tasks): Terraform, Helm, GitOps flow…
  • Be exposed to the requirements of diverse application types: single-page Javascript apps, web backend, real-time messaging services, complex machine learning pipelines (both real-time inferences and batch training)…
  • Some additional technologies we use: Python, Ruby, Javascript, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ, Prometheus, Grafana…

Some examples of projects you could be working on:

  • implement an automatic load testing tool
  • add autoscaling capabilities to reduce costs while handling traffic bursts
  • upgrade our deployment pipeline so that developers can build discovery environments on-demand
  • upgrade our stack to support multi-region hosting, be cloud-agnostic and deployed on-premise

Preferred experience

Must

  • 1+ year of experience as a SRE / Devops (excluding internships)
  • 1+ year of experience with cloud environments
  • 1+ year of experience with containers orchestration
  • You have good knowledge of web-based backend development
  • You have good knowledge of network administration
  • You’re passionate about the DevOps culture and Site Reliability Engineering
  • You’re autonomous, flexible, and a problem solver: at ease with surprises and blocking situations, finding solutions by yourself, and knowing when to ask for help
  • Full professional English proficiency
