Job Description:

Location : Aimarguess (30 min from Montpellier)

Type of contract : Permanent (CDI)

This role is accountable for enabling and deploying Mars Sourcing Guide across Global and Regional Sourcing functions. The Sourcing Guide is the one stop shop for all Sourcing policies & processes in Sourcing (e.g LoA, BAR…).

The job holder will work with other functions and key stakeholders (GCLT, Mars CoE), - to lead the development and continuous improvement of Sourcing Governance & Compliance processes, capabilities, and competencies to enable Sourcing strategies.

They will work in collaboration with MGS, and other Mars segments, representing the Royal Canin business and interest in shaping future procurement policies and Source To Pay (S2P) processes.  
 

  • Masters’ degree in Business, or Supply Chain or Procurement

  • 8+ years experience in procurement

  • Previous sourcing experience preferred.

  • Fluent in English

  • Broad business knowledge, preferably with some global level experience

  • Deep understanding of Procurement ecosystem and processes

  • Total Quality Management

  • Is the key point of contact and represents RC sourcing in the relevant forums / with the wider Mars to ensure Mars Sourcing governance processes reflect RC’s needs and in turn can be pragmatically deployed.

  • Is a key partner for the Global Sourcing Leadership Team through defining and structuring the consistent deployment of our Sourcing governance policies and processes.

  • Pro-actively reviews and track the deployment of all relevant metrics (e.g. LoA, BARs etc…) and escalates issues where the data indicates ineffective deployment.

  • For Royal Canin Sourcing, leads the review of sourcing related processes End to End and not just optimized for discrete parts, through working effectively with all related functions such as Finance, Supply/Supply Chain, etc.

  • Is accountable for defining and deploying key KPIs to ensure we are compliant with the relevant strategies/processes.

  • Collaborate closely within Effectiveness Team to ensure relevant trainings are available, tools to track and report compliance are in place and efficient, and data are available to provide meaningful insights to Global Sourcing Leadership Team.
