We are currently looking for a VP of Corporate Affairs to join us. You will be based in our London office, while visiting our Paris HQ often. You will be responsible for corporate communications, government relations, public affairs, community relations and investor relations. The team responsible for managing the stakeholder landscape of the business.

You will be the owner of the global communication strategy and KPIs, as well as Lifen’s overall messaging and storytelling. 

Your goal will be to ensure that Lifen continues to stand out as an industry leader and innovator. You will need to have strong communication and leadership skills and be able to articulate a simple, convincing and winning story in a complex and challenging industry. You will work closely with teams all over the company in a fast moving and international environment.

Main responsibilities

  • Lead Lifen’s communication work to grow the company’s reputation in all key markets and across relevant media.
  • Own, drive and implement Lifen’s global communication strategy in close alignment with the company vision, goals and brand strategy.
  • Lead, nurture, grow and challenge the wider communication team to be best in class across all communications practices.
  • Be responsible for setting and delivering on relevant KPIs that are closely aligned with the company’s business strategy and goals.
  • Support our markets in proactively looking for opportunities to promote Lifen’s brand and story through an active and evolving Public Relations program: specialized media, mainstream media, ambassadorship strategy, influencer relation, public affairs relations, etc.
  • Be ultimately responsible for project management and production of Lifen’s global PR announcements, stories and newsletters.
  • Be a key public speaker and ambassador to make sure that we tell our story and present our product in the best way possible in front of highly qualify audiences.
  • Work to promote Lifen as though leader in the industry, joining events, looking for speech opportunities, sponsoring and promoting events to position ourselves as a key actor on the healthcare / healthcare industry.
  • Requirements

  • At least 15+ years of experience in PR and communication in a healthcare environment is a must.
  • Deep understanding of the healthcare digital landscape in Europe.
  • Expert understanding of PR and Social media best practice and workflows and an ability to drive complex projects independently.
  • Strong network of contacts among English-speaking Tech and/or healthcare industry.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills in English (French a plus but not a requirement)
  • Experience in creating and deploying successful PR, news and campaigns?
  • A collaborative team player who knows how to work across a wide range of teams and cultures to achieve outstanding results.
  • Hands-on communicator who loves to ensure that all of Lifen’s communication lives up to the highest standards.
  • A structured thinker who can identify and act on creative PR and social media opportunities and who is always looking for new ideas.
  • Additional information

  • You will be reporting directly to the CEO.
  • 2 direct reports based in Paris > Head of Brand & Content & Head of Public Affairs.
