Our Digital Finance Department is looking for a FP&A Analyst based in Amsterdam.

The Digital Finance Department is integrated within Decathlon's Digital Business Unit.

Positioned as a true Business Partner to operational teams, the team ensures compliance with the economic framework, analyzes the value of various projects, and contributes to the evolution of Decathlon's Business Model.

Within this department, the Process for Value team acts across the whole financial scope, in connection with Business teams and the other FP&A Analysts, to ensure the correct application of our financial processes.

To help develop our new Digital Hub located in Amsterdam, we are creating a position based in Amsterdam, merging FP&A Analyst role and some specific statutory duties.

YOUR FUTURE CONTRIBUTION

• As the Financial Manager for our Digital NL subsidiary, you are responsible for the statutory Finance responsibilities in connection with local teams (Monthly close tasks, external audit preparation, VAT, CIT…), and also act as an important partner for our leadership team driving the Hub.
• As a FP&A Analyst within the Digital Finance Department, you actively participate in the overall monitoring of digital investments at Decathlon.
• You participate in financial rituals and performance reviews (monthly closing, preparation of forecasts, monitoring of CAPEX and amortizations, budget, etc.) of the Digital United perimeter.
• You support the cross-functional teams based in Amsterdam of Product Activation and UX:UI & Design, and are the main point of contact to your fellow FP&A Analysts for teams with a footprint in Amsterdam.
• You ensure the smooth running of the budgeting process within your scope and ensure compliance with it.
• You support and coach leaders and our partners on the financial impact of decisions made, particularly by presenting detailed reporting on their economic performance, and you proactively manage the risks within your scope.

WHAT YOU BRING

• You are passionate about sports and interested in new technologies and how they work to better serve our clients.
• You have previous successful experience in a similar role as FP&A Analyst.
• You have been involved with regular statutory duties in a previous experience.
• You know how to gain the trust of your partners and stakeholders.
• Your sense of service drives you to seek the best solution for your stakeholders, and you are not hesitant to share best practices.
• You demonstrate curiosity and are capable of understanding complex domains.
• You are rigorous and have a good sense of organization.
• You master Google / Microsoft office tools and your English is fluent (C1 level minimum).
