Position: Procurement Specialist

Location: Brussels

Reports to: Project Manager / Regional Manager / Head of Procurement


Profil recherché

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our North Europe team (Brussels, London & Luxembourg). The Procurement Specialist will be responsible for assisting in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent negotiation abilities, and a thorough understanding of procurement best practices.

Your missions:

  • Lead the procurement of furniture, fixtures, and decor items for Cohabs houses, ensuring timely delivery, quality assurance, and adherence to budgetary guidelines.

  • Support house-related procurement activities, including coordinating with Project Managers, conducting site visits, and overseeing installations.

  • Source and evaluate suppliers for various procurement needs

  • Negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions.

  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including purchase requisitions, order processing, and invoice reconciliation.

  • Analyze spending patterns, identify cost-saving opportunities, and recommend efficiency improvements to optimize procurement operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and supplier information using relevant systems or tools.

  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement requirements and provide assistance as needed.

  • Collaborate with Regional Manager/City Managers to address procurement-related issues and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to foster long-term partnerships and secure preferential pricing and terms.

  • Collaborate with the HQ Procurement Department to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with Cohabs’ objectives and budgetary constraints.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency.

  • Source new suppliers and maintain relationships with existing suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.

  • Evaluate supplier performance and conduct regular supplier reviews to identify areas for improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand procurement needs and requirements.

  • Monitor inventory levels and track procurement metrics to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact procurement activities.

  • Provide support and guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.

  • Assist in the development of procurement reports and presentations for senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.

  • Ability to drive and train new profiles.

  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in procurement software and Google Suite.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in English & French
