The position

Job description

In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the visual identity and user experience of one of our upcoming game, a unique and ambitious Solitaire game. We are seeking a talented Game Artist with a keen eye for UI & UX design to lead all art production aspects of the game. As part of our small, high-performing team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a game played by millions while honing your skills and creativity.Main Responsibilities:

  • Create visually stunning and intuitive mobile game art direction

  • Deconstruct and analyze mobile game mechanics to enhance user experience

  • Develop all visual aspects of the game, including:

    UI elements

    Mockups

    Icons

    2D & 3D Optimized Assets

    Characters and Rigging

    Lighting & VFX

    Animations

  • Introduce new game ideas and features, bringing them to life through art

  • Cultivate a keen understanding of mobile gaming trends and sensitivities


Preferred experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a game artist, with a strong focus on UI & UX design

  • Proficient in Photoshop for 2D art, 3DS Max, Maya, or Blender for 3D modeling

  • Familiarity with Unity for game development, FX & Animations

  • Good skills in Illustrator, After Effects, Spine and optional Substance Painter & Designer

  • Passionate about casual mobile games and adept at identifying gameplay and mechanics trends

  • Demonstrated ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively within a team

  • Excellent organizational, management, and leadership skills
