You will lead the development of medically accurate content/tactics for specific therapeutical areas, ensuring alignment with the client’s objectives, medical strategy and targets.
You will report to the Medical Strategist.
Key responsibilities:
- Research and understand the specific therapeutic/scientific areas as well as the marketing strategy of the products
- Combine creative thinking and accurate fact based scientific knowledge to conceive, write and edit the content for a wide range of scientific and promotional assets, such as detail aids, leave behinds, websites, etc.
- Support and guide creative teams by distilling and humanizing the science within the strategic framework set by the client
- Interact constructively with the client, on both medical and marketing sides, by paying attention to its needs and providing valuable input in return
- Deliver the medical/scientific content for a range of specific brands
- 8+ years of experience as a senior medical copywriter in a healthcare communication agency
- Proven experience in building strategic POVs rooted in medical insights
- Perfect knowledge of the French local healthcare landscape, as well as a good understanding of the global challenges.
- Ability to make sense of medical/scientific data and transform it into promotional/creative copy
- Broad story-telling capabilities, from detailed thoroughly referenced text to headlines and ad bodycopies.
- Ability to write a wide range of deliverables e.g. visual aids (and sales speech), leave behinds, slide sets, videos, brand books, product monographs, press kits, patient materials, website/digital content, training materials, educational materials, objection handlers, press ads
- Ability to lead medical teams
- Fluent in both French and English mandatory
