Job description

If you’re passionate about transforming innovative ideas into tangible products rather than just presenting them in PowerPoints, and possess an unwavering entrepreneurial spirit with a no-quit attitude, coupled with a keenness to immerse yourself in technical intricacies and code, this role is tailor-made for you.

As a Technical Product Owner with us, you’ll be at the forefront of architecting solutions that fortify our clients’ IT backbone. Your canvas will be broad and challenging, ranging from developing an ML platform for a team of 100 data scientists, constructing an enterprise middleware that streamlines every cross-application exchange of a client’s IT, to orchestrating a Data Platform that efficiently serves over 400 users. The essence of this role lies in your ability to navigate through complex technical challenges and precisely align user requirements with strategic objectives through exchanges with senior executives. Embrace this opportunity to leave a significant mark on the IT landscape by shaping products that not only meet but exceed client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Synthesize user requirements, technical capabilities, and executive strategies into a cohesive and compelling product vision, effectively bridging gaps between different stakeholders.

  • Foster dynamic collaboration with technical teams to ensure agile, efficient product development and delivery, embodying flexibility and responsiveness to change.

  • Craft and deliver powerful, persuasive presentations to unify and energize client organizations around the product vision, ensuring stakeholder alignment and buy-in.

  • Proactively delve into technical details as necessary, demonstrating hands-on leadership to troubleshoot challenges and guide the implementation process.

  • Cultivate a deep understanding of cutting-edge technologies and tools essential for the product’s success, and actively disseminate this knowledge within the Lenstra team to elevate our collective expertise.

  • Champion the integration of customer feedback into product development, ensuring products evolve in response to user insights and needs.

  • Lead by example in adopting a data-driven approach to decision-making, ensuring product strategies and improvements are guided by empirical evidence and analytics.

  • Encourage a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the team, fostering an environment where bold ideas and creative solutions are welcomed and explored.

Preferred experience

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

  • Possess at least 2 years of programming experience, demonstrating strong coding proficiency.

  • Develop and maintain empathy, understanding user needs and perspectives deeply.

  • Display a relentless drive for delivering value, overcoming obstacles to achieve goals.

  • Proficient in JIRA, Confluence, or similar product management tools, facilitating efficient workflows.

  • Exhibit exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of navigating complex issues.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.

  • Skilled at managing multiple tasks, prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines and objectives.

  • Knowledgeable in SQL, capable of handling data manipulation and analysis tasks.

  • Agile mindset, adaptable to changing project requirements and business needs.

  • Visionary thinking, capable of identifying future trends and integrating them into current projects.

  • Leadership qualities, able to guide and inspire teams towards achieving project milestones.
