Dataiku is hiring a US-based Legal Intern! The Legal & Compliance Team, with members in New York, Paris, London, and Singapore, is a strategic partner for Dataiku's day to day business and is passionate about supporting the growth of our company. We are looking for a Legal Intern who is interested in gaining experience at a high-growth technology company and learning how to approach legal problem-solving in a pragmatic way. You will work with the legal team based in New York and receive mentorship from the global team to make an impact across many business functions. This is a part-time position over the course of the summer. We are open to remote candidates in the United States, with a preference for candidates in Eastern or Central time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and organizing a variety of contracts, including sales documents, vendor agreements, and employment documents
  • Reviewing NDAs and maintaining internal playbooks
  • Researching a broad range of questions related to marketing, employment and foreign law
  • Assisting with compliance initiatives and processes
  • Supporting the Legal & Compliance Team’s use of the Dataiku platform for analytics and other operations tools

Schedule:

20-30 hours per week

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a J.D. or LL.M degree from an A.B.A. accredited law school
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Self-starter who can meet deadlines

Compensation and Benefits

The final compensation package for this role will be determined during the interview process and is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, geographic location, internal equity, education, skill set, experience and training. Eligible roles may also be entitled to receive commission or other variable compensation through Dataiku's incentive compensation program.
