In this role, you will play an integral, cross-functional role within the Marketing Tech team where you will be responsible for the platform and data operations to support the Lifecycle Marketing strategy and execution that drive growth and retention. You will help design and build a data-driven Marketing Tech stack that will enable sophisticated and personalized omni-channel user journeys.

What You Will Do

  • Design, implement, and maintain campaigns and automation that drive the engagement of our users, drivers, riders, merchants and agents, improve their performance, and prevent churn.
  • Design, configure and manage CRM and other Marketing Tech platforms to support data-driven Lifecycle Marketing campaign initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and CRM teams to map messaging use cases to data requirements and Marketing Tech platform capabilities.
  • Work with the Data Ops and Engineering teams to identify and prioritize consumer touchpoints and attributes used to support audience segmentation & targeting, marketing campaign activation and measurement.
  • Partner with Product and Technology teams to build and enhance messaging platform features.
  • Manage vendor and customer support relationships for proper client support and needs.
  • Design and iterate on a holistic global communication strategy that covers the lifetime of our users, drivers, riders, merchants and agents from application to offboarding.
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the business and different countries to optimize ad hoc campaigns. We’re looking for a person that will constantly improve promotional activities by learning from tests and historical performance
  • Create and communicate CRM performance reports across teams and different locations in quasi real time basis
  • What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Math or related field is required
  • 5 years of experience in marketing tech or data product management.
  • Expert knowledge in Direct to Consumer CRM messaging and marketing automation platforms (preferably Leanplum, Braze and/or Airship).
  • Email, SMS channel experience required. WhatsApp channel experience preferred
  • Push and in-app required.
  • Comfortable with the technical (SQL, HTML, Liquid, Python), the regulatory (IP deliverability, GDPR, etc.), and the product side (data structure and event tracking, audience segmentation, etc.) of marketing we think you will be even more successful
  • Proficiency in data collection and data taxonomy design within Data Management Platforms or Customer Data Platforms (e.g., Segment, mParticle).
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business and platform requirements into marketing campaigns.
  • Hands-on experience working with consumer-level event and attribute data for audience segmentation, targeting and measurement.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and maintain cross-functional relationships (Marketing, Product, Engineering) as well as external vendors and suppliers.
  • Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and timelines.
  • Experience in Direct to Consumer business. Subscription and lifecycle marketing is a plus.
  • Target driven and ability to drive meeting of very aggressive targets
  • Strong commercial sense, sharp problem solver and ability to get things done
  • Strong business development and relationship building skills
  • Must have outstanding written & verbal communication skills in French. English and Arabic are a plus
  • Outstanding project management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, self-start, contribute under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organized, creative and critical thinker
  • Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Procurement or legal background is a big plus
  • Excellent business judgment, communication and interpersonal skills
